Fun Cat Activities: Paranormal Edition

It's time for a Friday Funny!  Does your cute little kitty or doggie seem to commune with something only it can see?  Either my house is the least haunted house in the world, or I have two cats who absolutely don't care about things that go bump in the night.  Six years of sharing space with those two, and I've never seen them act like they could see beyond the veil.

But, speaking of shadow people...with all the craziness going on in the world over the past few months, I've been trying to keep an eye on paranormal trends.  What I've noticed is that quite a few people have reported a recent increase in paranormal activity, mainly experiences with shadow beings.  I hope to explore that topic a little deeper within the next few weeks, but if YOU have noticed an uptick in activity or have had a recent experience with a shadow being, I'd love to hear from you!  Please let me know your story below, or feel free to contact me via Facebook or Twitter to share your story.  Stay safe and stay spooky everyone, and have a wonderful weekend!

Ghosts vs. Goats: A Friday Night Funny

How many times has this happened to you on an investigation?  None?  Well, its still a cute little comic by Liz Climo and illustrates an important part of paranormal field research---the need for clear, concise communication!  Make sure you speak loud and clear during those EVP sessions so that you don't catch a recording of yourself mumbling and think its a ghost, lol.  Have a great Friday, everyone and if you're out investigating this weekend, make sure you're contacting GHOSTS and not GOATS!

Ancient Spirits

Ancient spirit, no...but I have a feeling that as society continues to evolve what we used to call 'text speak,' there's gonna be a lot of afterlife communications coming across in just this manner!  If you were on the other side and trying to contact the living, what would YOU say?  Let me know in the comments below, or join me over at Theresa's Haunted History Facebook page

Old Fashioned Fun

Remember that blog post where I shared how I tried to summon Satan as a small child?  This kinda reminded me of that!  I'm sure in some cult-like religion, children gathering to play marbles (with or without the pentagram) is sinful enough to warrant their depiction as little demons.  I mean, it if played a certain way, it IS the same as gambling!

BOOOOO-bies!

In general, I  prefer clever, subtle, and even dry humor. But, sometimes I want something just totally sophomoric and hilarious. I'm pretty sure I have the brain of a 12 year old boy...and if you do too, then  you'll  probably enjoy today's Fright Night Funny as much as I did!

Demon Lemon

I, uh, sorta petered out with last month's Demonic December...so I'll be sprinkling in some demonic-themed posts throughout the next couple of weeks to make up for it! Happy New Year!

On a non-related note, I fully endorse teaching cursive in schools, lol. I do understand that it is a useful skill, especially for people like me to analyze old documents all the time. However, I don't think it should be put above subjects such as math, reading, science and social studies...but I may be changing my mind if something like this were to happen to me!
